On Saturday, October 21, Family Britches in Chappaqua will showcase the latest fall styles from Rag & Bone for men and women while offering tasty treats from Wandel cookies.
Wandel is a fresh twist on mandel bread—a baked good that’s softer than a biscotti and heartier than a cookie.
Wandel’s founder, Stephanie Berlin, will be at Family Britches to discuss her “world of Wandel,” which traces its roots to a family recipe and is the outgrowth of Stephanie’s success at a New York City farmer’s market.
Served as bite-sized cookies and in loaves, Wandel comes in 4 flavors:
Milk chocolate with cinnamon sugar
Dark chocolate with maldon salt
Lemon poppyseed topped with lemon glaze
Gingerbread topped with cinnamon sugar (not available at the tasting)
