The Foundations of a Wardrobe

I live in Beacon, New York. My sister lives in Chappaqua, New York. We were talking the other day about my son who just got a job as an attorney at a Boston firm. I suggested he needs a wardrobe for work. My sister said, we have the best store here in Chappaqua.

First the Chappaqua sister called and then I reached out for the Beacon sister. We chatted about what she thought her son might need. I asked if she could guess his sizes. After a short back and forth, we decided to make an appointment for she her husband and son to come to the store on the weekend her son was visiting them.

They came Columbus Day weekend. We spent 90 minutes getting acquainted and ascertaining what he might nee d for his first job. He got suits, shirts, ties, dress slacks, a fall outerwear jacket, a vest and a quarter zip.

He also got to meet President Clinton’s valet and go to our Farmer’s Market.

His mom’s response to my thank you note, tells the whole story.
