From Groomsman to Groom: Alan Came Back for His Big Day

We met Alan when we measured him for a friend’s wedding in which he was a groomsman. He was so pleased with that experience that when it came time for his own wedding, he reached back out to us.

But I’ll let his email tell that part of his experience…

Hi Barry,

I hope you are well and your 2026 is off to a great start! As a reminder, I was a groomsman in the Hennings wedding between Olivia and Andrew last October. Last summer, I visited your store to get fitted, and ended up purchasing two additional Jack Victor suits (one navy and one grey – they are great by the way!).

I am now in the process of looking at suits for my own wedding, which is on June 27th of this year. I love the suits I got from you and really enjoyed working with you and your team, so I am interested to hear your thoughts on color selection and potential options.

Family Britches has been working with Alan & Cassie for four months now. We have chosen a suit and white shirt, for Alan, suits for his 9 groomsmen, his father and father-in-law to be.

Cassie asked that we match her yellow bridesmaid’s dresses with ties and pocket squares.

Cassie’s, brother, Chris, also needed a fitting on his groomsman’s suit. We drove up the Taconic Parkway, 40 miles, and Chris came down from the Albany area. We met at the soccer field that Chris played on in his youth. Fitting and measurements taken successfully.

From first fitting to final details, Alan and Cassie’s journey reflects what we pride ourselves on most…hands-on, personalized service and a seamless wedding outfitting experience that ensures every groom, groomsman, and family member looks and feels their absolute best on the big day!
